Angelica's life forever altered after her dialysis for kidneys. Her mother was the sole one who could donate the kidney. Angelica and her mother had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on September 13, 2013 at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from each other. Angelica Hale's desire to become the world's most famous person has never wavered.
